The lightsaber animation was the most challenging and rewarding animation project I have ever done. Prof. Sutherland really taught me attention to detail and patience through this animation. The character’s movements were filmed and acted out by me and then matched exactly to the original video. Animation is a challenging field that deserves all of the credit for their attention to detail.

The ball bounce animation was created through Maya like all of the 3-D animations in ART 217, this project taught me to really see through animation. I researched ball bounces and matched a style that was less realistic and gave more life to the bouncing ball.

The 3 objects animation proved to be a combination of my previous modeling experience in Maya combined with the new 3-D animation skill. I created 3 objects that were fun and could be animated in an interesting way. Another challenging and rewarding animation.
