For this project, we were presented the idea to create a script, based off of a(n) real-life experience or fiction. The script i decided to write, was in relations to real life experience’s conveyed through the life of many people in my life. The actual script was made simply like most other things, 1) Brainstorm 2)Draft 3)Feedback 4)Revaluation 5)Final Script.

The creative process for this project was fairly simple. For the most part, i decided to make a story out of a stories or situations that have transpired in my life, more specifically my close friends and families lives.

The class in total was completely everything of what i expected. The professor was probably if not one of the best professors I’ve had at the institution. He was, compelling, very enthusiastic, and helpful in regards to the students concerns and or needs. Most importantly, he made the class fun, and was openly expressive about his intentions, ideas, and expectations.

In doing so, I learned that anything is possible with the right mindset, and supporting cast around you. Being creative takes more effort then you think, and when it comes to writing creatively, i tend to strive as an artist, simply because i try my best to view a

Write ONE descriptive paragraph per project explaining what it is, how was it made, and any meaningful information you think can make us understand better your creative process. After this you can give us a short general feedback on the class and what you learned, so we can benefit from your comments, besides your actual projects, to see how can we improve the courses we offer and will offer in the future.

What is Pinerest? That’s the same-thing me and fellow classmate/musician Peter Doughty said when assigned this project. We had exactly no clue as to what it was, so for this project we were instructed to explore and give a detailed description in slide presentations, of what it entitled.

For this project my partner and I decided to split the project up, making it easier and balanced amongst the two of us. We analyzed and researched the topic subject matter and from there created a google drive slide show, that we converted essentially into a PowerPoint presentation.

Doing this particular project informed us both of things that we hadn’t heard of and it also enlightened some of our classmates who were ultimately in the same boat.

Regarding the class, it was critical to obtain and learn the skills of being able to interact, communicate, decipher, and understand the intellect of Online users. The class itself was very insightful and eye-opening.

CLASS: ART 211- Art & Technology
PROFESSOR: Blanka Roundtree

INSTITUTION: University of Tampa

For this project, we were instructed to review  an Opera created before 1920. We were instructed to write paper in response and add any commentary about the “Mise En Scene”. The purpose of the assignment was to inform the instructor after viewing the opera, of what it exactly it was that we discovered viewing the opera. Furthermore, we were instructed to give our opinion on how the audience reacted when the actually piece was presented.
After reviewing the Opera, there was a question posed to us in the instructions, ” Why do you think this piece is important in the chronology of Opera.” We gave our honest thoughts and explained the difference in technology back then, as appose to now. Caveat….. At the end each response required a proposal… How could you turn the Opera that you viewed into a video game.
This class was lit from the beginning of the semester to the  end of the semester. Literally the professor was very strict in her teaching manner, but it was for the better of the class. She was a wonderful professor, who i would recommend any day. She was consoling to students, she was very helpful, she gave ample explanation, and most importantly she cared about each individuals well being.
From the class i learned a lot of history in relations to art. How they did things back then and the true conceptual meaning of why they did it in the fashion that they did things in. I learned how art has evolved with time and that art can be anything that you potentially want it to be. The greatest aspect of this class, was the actual hands on creations and projects that we did through the entirety of the semester.

Fiction Writing

This particular project was catered solely to the creative aspects of our own minds. Instructed by the professor, we were to write a creative fiction story. In doing so, we were to have a minimum of at least 2 characters and some implementation of technological advances.

While constructing the story, the process was fairly simple, being that it was any story we had in our mind “no limitations.” From there a drafted a plot or scheme of what I wanted to envision writing about. I thought, why not use superstar names and make it into a love story.

My ideal setting was a snow white Christmas, with a shocking plot twist, of a proposal by the main character “Drake.”

The overall assignment was totally fun and it allowed us as a class and students to get creative and learn the technicalities of professional fiction writing. The exposure and independent element of writing, was intriguing to say the least and was very beneficial at the time of critique. After writing the stories, we gave critiques or input on the other stories being displayed in class. It turned out amazing because know one knew what to expect.

The professor for this class, was amazing and down to earth. She was very respectful, very open armed, and very helpful. She gave feedback as needed, seeked additional assistance, in the event anyone had questions. Her open door policy, was amazing because she never really met in her office, more so a common area on campus and enjoyed the views, all the while giving much needed suggestions or revisions to the work.

CLASS: WRI 260 -Intro to Government Affairs
PROFESSOR: Dennis Rey

This was an amazing class all around. The professor was very laid back and kind going. For this assignment we were in discussion about democracy. The different levels and options of Democracy, modern and post time were of discussion, intern we wrote how we felt about the side we leaned more toward.

Accelerated summer classes are great, yet i must admit a full semester in 6 weeks is a lot of writing. We did valuable writing on history, and even partook in debates. I thought it was interesting because i really don’t get to involved into politics, yet after taking this class, it enlightened me on somethings that i didn’t know. Not in relations to government functions, but the functions and hierarchies of how things work.
