For this project, we were presented the idea to create a script, based off of a(n) real-life experience or fiction. The script i decided to write, was in relations to real life experience’s conveyed through the life of many people in my life. The actual script was made simply like most other things, 1) Brainstorm 2)Draft 3)Feedback 4)Revaluation 5)Final Script.
The creative process for this project was fairly simple. For the most part, i decided to make a story out of a stories or situations that have transpired in my life, more specifically my close friends and families lives.
The class in total was completely everything of what i expected. The professor was probably if not one of the best professors I’ve had at the institution. He was, compelling, very enthusiastic, and helpful in regards to the students concerns and or needs. Most importantly, he made the class fun, and was openly expressive about his intentions, ideas, and expectations.
In doing so, I learned that anything is possible with the right mindset, and supporting cast around you. Being creative takes more effort then you think, and when it comes to writing creatively, i tend to strive as an artist, simply because i try my best to view a

Provided in the link above, is a walk through a photo shoot installation, that i created using my own camera, audio, and the compliments of the Blackbox. For this project we were to incorporate things we obtained through the semester, and create an interactive installation.
For this, i needed a photo shoot cast (myself) and a camera. The rest was pretty simple, i arranged chairs in the order that a fashion show would have present them. I encouraged participants to treat it like a formal scenario and gave them guidelines and instructions as to what exactly was happening, what the procedures were, and the goods and bad’s.
I recreate the atmosphere of a live photo shoot in the Blackbox, Not only that, i gave each participant the opportunity the chance to pick their own song, that represented them as a person bet. They played the song during there 5-10 minute session, posing, as a took pictures.
Different personalities were exploited and the meaning of the project was to do just that. Express yourself in the way you feel no matter who’s watching. The title ” Havoc World.”

First and foremost, i want to thank and commend Professor Doug Sutherland for all he has done for our department, for our students, our faculty, and out lying communities.
This is bitter-sweet and I was unsure if i wanted to include this in the portfolio, however, Doug is part of the main reasoning in why i didn’t change my major. Great guy, he is very well-spoken, very knowledgeable in profession, and a true professional. Never once did he rub me the wrong way, disrespect me, or let alone raise his voice in class at all.
He is the ideal professional and i learned valuable things that I’d never no if it weren’t for him. He placed all students in a position to succeed without being degrading or demeaning. Understanding everyone wasn’t artist, he was very open armed in relations to help. He reached out and checked on the progress of students, more importantly he respected each and every individual for the artistic vision they brought to the table.
The class pretty much carved the way for what i do now, and is soley inspired by some of the fun projects we did in class. If it weren’t for Professor Doug there wouldn’t be any imaging. From the first time i began editing and manipulating in his class, i knew, from there art was what i want to do.
The project itself was fun because it was our own original logo that created and ultimately made an official logo, with the knowledge we received from Doug.
WE LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU DOUG AND IF IT WEREN’T FOR YOU… WELL YOU KNOW. THANK YOU SINCERELY FROM AS MY ADVISOR AND ONE OF THE MOST PROFESSIONAL INDIVIDUALS AT UT.
This comes as no surprise, and we as a Department & Family wish you continued success in your future endeavors.
